Shenandoah University women’s soccer earned a hard-fought 2-1 win over Roanoke College, advancing to the ODAC semifinals for the first time since 2022.
Powered by early goals from McKenna Newcome and Kaitlyn Wahl, the Hornets took a swift 2-0 lead in their first home playoff since 2016.
Despite a second-half goal from Roanoke, goalkeeper Morgan Musselman delivered three key saves, maintaining Shenandoah’s edge.
Now 11-6-3, the Hornets will face Virginia Wesleyan University in another high-stakes semifinal matchup.
Elsewhere, women’s cross country took third at ODACs, led by Maddy Chorney.
The field hockey team rallied to beat Virginia Wesleyan, clinching the No. 2 seed for the ODAC Tournament.
Women’s volleyball split a tri-match, highlighted by strong efforts from Hannah Hylton and Ashlynn Spence, while three wrestlers placed at the Tonee Ellis Invitational.
Women’s tennis earned eight wins at the Randolph WildCat Invitational as Shenandoah’s fall teams continue to shine.
